Human Growth Hormone and the Effects of Aging

Human growth hormone, also known as HGH, is a naturally occurring hormone that stimulates growth, cell reproduction and cell regeneration. Much like testosterone, the levels of human growth hormone can deteriorate over time, exacerbating the weight gain, loss of muscle mass, atrophication of bone and other vagaries often associated with aging.

Deficiencies in human growth hormone can often be combated with the application or ingestion of a supplement. A naturally produced amino acid like GABA, or Gamma-amino butyric acid, buoys the level of human growth hormones in the body, which can help reduce body weight, halt the aging process and ameliorate muscle recovery and regeneration. GABA is a neuroinhibitor produced in the hippocampus of the brain. It prevents the synapses from firing and alters your brain chemistry to generate a feeling of relaxtion, comfort and repose. Digestion of foods rich with GABA combined with human growth hormone supplements can relieve stress and anxiety. These foods include walnuts, spinach, almonds, tree nuts, lentils, fruits and rice.

Many athletes receive human growth hormone through the use of supplements and sprays, which in turn stimulate the production of human growth hormone. As people grow older, their levels of testosterone and HGH start to steadily diminish. The use of supplements can have excellent effects on maintaining a youthful vigor. Furthermore, judicious use of these naturally occurring hormones can decrease the risk of side effects associated with the use of anabolic steroids.

In addition to HGH and testosterone, human chorionic gonadotropin, or hCG, is another popular weight-loss drug. Produced during pregnancy to reduce excess body fat tissue in fetuses, hCG can also remove adipose tissue without affecting muscle mass. With a small daily dosage of hCG injections (125 IU) combined with a low-calorie diet, high-protein diet, the effects of hCG have been proven to positively decrease overall weight.

If you need an overall increase in testosterone, hCG, or HGH production, a capsule supplement can be ingested to compensate for the enervating effects of age. GABA supplements are available in powder, tablet and capsule form. Capsules can be opened and mixed with water for easy ingestion. The dosage will vary depending on the severity of the condition. In other words, a person suffering from hypertension will not be recommended the same growth hormone dosage as a person suffering from obesity.

The recommended daily allowance is not specifically mentioned for the average individual, but there are recommendations based on your particular ailment or muscle malady. For instance, for epilepsy 250 to 500 milligrams of Gamma-amino butyric acid can be taken up to 3 times daily, or as recommended by a doctor. For diseases such as insomnia, 500 to 1000 milligrams can be taken before bedtime. For stress and tobacco dependence, up to 750 mg can be taken daily. One should be careful not to exceed 1000mg a day regardless of the malady.

Generally, any growth hormone or anabolic steroid should only be used by adults unless recommended specifically by a specialist for a particular disorder. Human growth hormone sprays and capsules can also assist children who are suffering from afflictions such as ADHD. The correct dosage depends largely on their age and body weight. A half capsule to a maximum of six capsules for obese children can be taken, preferably one hour before a meal. If you are unsure how much growth hormone should be administered, you should first consult a physician.
